Conference Presentation Selection Policy
Presenters of accepted 10-minute contributions receive a complimentary day pass for the full conference programme (excluding the festive dinner on Sunday, which is subject to a fee). Submissions are selected primarily on their merit and practical relevance for arbitration practitioners, including whether the topic reflects current practice or has been academically published; in addition, balanced representation of the focus regions (DACH countries and Central and Eastern Europe), attention to gender equality and underrepresented groups, and a considered mix of established and younger practitioners— who receive special encouragement despite the separate young practitioners’ event—are taken into account. Where speakers are affiliated with business law firms, any support provided as sponsors may be considered favourably in the selection process, but it is expressly not a precondition for being chosen.
